Austin Roberts returned to Manchester University as an assistant football coach in April 2022. The fall 2022 season marked his first season back on the Black & Gold sideline. 

During his first year on the Manchester sidelines, Roberts primarily worked with wide receivers. The Spartans totaled 1,953 receiving yards with 15 touchdowns. 

No stranger to the Manchester football program, Roberts was a three-time Honorable Mention All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference performer at quarterback for the Black & Gold. As a senior during the 2019 season, Roberts surpassed 1,000 yards of total offense - throwing for 765 yards and rushing for 319 yards. He scored 14 of his 23 career touchdowns in 2019.

Prior to returning to North Manchester, Roberts served as an assistant coach at Hanover College. A 2020 graduate of Manchester, Roberts earned a degree in sport management.
