Coach King comes to Manchester University from West Virginia, Wesleyan, where he served as the Recruiting Coordinator / Running backs coach. In 2023 he served as the Assistant Director of Recruiting / Operations for Florida A&M University football program. Â

King is a native of Greensboro North Carolina, where he was a stand out running back at Northeast Guilford High School.  Following his freshman season King made the move across the northern border and played at St. Mary’s University. King was a team captain, Subway player of the year, and first team all Canadian returner /running back. King led St. Mary’s to an appearance in the AUS Championship and Loney Bowl in 2017. Following his career at St. Mary’s; King transitioned to Fayetteville State University where he completed his degree in Business Management and subsequently received his Masters degree from Liberty University. Â
