A 2009 graduate of Manchester College, Coach Shaun Tilghman had aided the MU football program in a variety of areas as a volunteer assistant coach. 

Tilghman played for former head coaches Dave Harms and Shannon Griffith from 2000-04 as a safety and wide receiver. Tilghman has previous coaching experience at North Miami and Manchester High Schools.
