Zach Shaw came to Manchester in Summer of 2024. The 2024 season will mark his first season on the Black & Gold sidelines.
Shaw came to North Manchester from Fitchburg State where he spent a year there as Head Coach. Shaw led Fitchburg to it's best offensive season since 2018 as well as expanded the athletic program as a whole. Prior to Fitchburg, Shaw spent a year at Elmhurst as the offensive coordinator where he improved scoring offense, total offense, and passing offense from the previous 2 seasons.
From 2020-2022 Shaw was the Offensive Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at Hiram College, where they improved statistically in all significant offensive categories including: 1st downs, rushing and passing touchdowns, rushing, passing, and total yards, 3rd down conversions, and 4th down conversions. Before that he spent two years at Nichols College as the Director of Football Operations, Offensive Coordinator, and Title IX Board Member.
Shaw spent a few seasons in Europe as the starting quarterback and play caller. He led a team to a top ten ranking in Europe while also evaluating potential talent.
Shaw got his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College and obtained his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at Nichols College.
Shaw and his partner, Jess, currently reside in North Manchester with their two dogs.Â
