Nic Ranieri

Nic Ranieri joined the Manchester Men's Soccer coaching staff in 2022.  

During his first year on the Black and Gold sidelines, Ranieri helped lead the Spartans to the Semfinal round of the 2023 HCAC Men's Soccer Tournament after finishing the regular season with a 5-7-5 and an HCAC record of 4-2-3. Three Spartans earned All-HCAC recoginition including Noack Black (Second Team), Julian Keough (Second Team), and Ruben Gonzalez (Hon. Mention). Nine Manchester men's soccer student-athletes were named to the HCAC Academic Team. 

Ranieri is a 2016 graduate of Lipscomb University, where he played soccer at the NCAA Division I level.  At Lipscomb, he received the All-Conference Freshman award, as well as making the Atlantic Sun Conference 2nd Team. 

After graduation, Nic traveled abroad to compete as a professional soccer player.  In 2018, he joined the San Fernando C.D. soccer club in Spain.  He played with San Fernando C.D. until 2019.  In 2019, Coach Ranieri joined the Foligno Calcio A.S.D. soccer club in Italy.  He was on the team until 2020.  Following his time abroad, Ranieri returned back to the States and continued his professional soccer career in Ohio.  From 2020-2021, Coach Ranieri was a part of the Cincinnati Swerve soccer club, which is a professional indoor soccer team.   

Prior to coaching at Manchester, Coach Ranieri coached at Cincinnati Alliance Soccer Club as the assistant men's coach from 2018 to 2019.  After coaching for the Alliance, he joined the coaching staff of the Cincinnati Elite Soccer Club from 2020-2021.  In 2022, before coming to Manchester, Coach Ranieri was a Lead Staff Trainer for Coerver Coaching. 

Along with all of Nic's success, he has received the USSF National 'D' Coaching License, the UEFA L3 Coaching Badge, and the Regional FIGC - C3 Soccer Certificate.
