Olaoluwade "Ola" Ladapo enters his second season at the helm of the Manchester University men’s soccer program. A proud Spartan alumnus, Ladapo returned to his alma mater to build a program centered on competitive excellence, rigorous player development, and a culture where student-athletes win on the pitch and off  and grow as individuals.
In his first season, Ladapo immediately laid a championship foundation by transforming the Spartans into one of the toughest, most disciplined defensive units in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC). Utilizing a structured tactical system that emphasizes heavy defensive organization.

Prior to taking the reins at Manchester, Ladapo spent two seasons as the head men's soccer coach and physical education teacher at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. During his tenure with the Giants, he engineered a historic turnaround, leading the program to its first-ever Marion County Tournament championship and capturing an IHSAA sectional title. Under his guidance, the Giants advanced to the regional stage for the first time since 2017.
Ladapo’s commitment to holistic student-athlete development was evident at Ben Davis, where he produced six all-academic honorers, placed ten players with a GPA above 3.5, and successfully moved ten seniors onward into collegiate soccer opportunities. As well 3 All state players and 5 All conference and All County players.
His extensive coaching background also includes developing elite talent within the youth systems of FC Indiana and FC Reno, specializing in preparing prospects for the physical and tactical transitions into the collegiate and professional ranks. Beyond the pitch, Ladapo serves as the Director of Operations and Head Trainer for TLP Fitness LLC, utilizing advanced physical, mental, and athletic performance training to maximize player resilience and strength.

As a student-athlete at Manchester University, Ladapo enjoyed a standout four-year playing career as a dynamic midfielder before graduating with a bachelor's degree in sports science. During his time at Manchester, he served as a primary offensive catalyst for the Spartans, leading the squad's returning attacking metrics in 3 years to secure All-HCAC honor. Ladapo finished his career with 16 goals 8 assists.
Following his collegiate career, Ladapo successfully transitioned into the professional ranks. he competed internationally as a midfielder for FC Reno in the Jamaican National Premier League, . Domestically, he continued his professional and semi-professional career playing as a midfielder for Maryland SGFC and as a central attacking midfielder for FC Indiana.

Ladapo is dedicated to collaborating with his coaching staff, the athletic department, and the surrounding North Manchester community to elevate Spartan men's soccer. By demanding excellence in the classroom and on the field, he remains committed to nurturing well-rounded student-athletes who graduate prepared to make meaningful, lasting contributions to society.
