Rachel Oberholtzer joined the Manchester University Softball staff in August 2024. This will be her first season on the Black & Gold sidelines.
Oberholtzer is coming from Fort Valley State University, a Division II in Georgia. She was an assistant softball coach there from 2023-2024. In her time there, FVSU completed their first 30 win season in over 30 years while winning the SIAC East division.Â
Prior to joining FVSU, Oberholtzer was the assistant softball coach at Parkview High school in Georgia.Â
Oberholtzer graduated with her Bachelors at Piedmont College where she majored in Sociology & Anthropology, during her time there she was USA South All-Academic Team 2017 and 2019. She then received her Masters degree from Rider University in Athletic Leadership.Â
