BEREA, OHIO – A pair of pins from freshman 157-pounder Colin Wise (Cairo, Ohio) and senior heavyweight Jason Pedigo (Zionsville, Ind.) helped lead Manchester University to a 24-16 dual win over Case Western Reserve Saturday, Nov. 23.
MU (2-2) finished the day at Baldwin-Wallace College's Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium with a win and loss. The host Yellowjackets took a 40-6 victory, despite a pair of decisions from sophomore 133-pounder Kalib Jackson (Angola, Ind.) and Pedigo.
Jackson, adding a decision against CWR, and Pedigo each ended 2-0 on the afternoon. Sophomore 141-pounder Josh Juarez (South Bend, Ind.) and freshmen Dylan Lauffer (Fairfield, Ohio), competing at 165, and Logan Floor (Sheridan, Ind.), wrestling at 174, added decisions against Case Western.
Manchester University breaks from competition until Friday, Dec. 6, when they travel to Wabash College for the 2013 Indiana Little States tournament.
