NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – Sophomore Kyler Love (North Webster, Ind.) and the number two doubles pairing of sophomore Isaac Collis (Alexandria, Ind.) and freshman Connor Eichenauer (North Manchester, Ind.) led the way for Manchester University Thursday, April 14.

Facing off against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association power Adrian College, Love evened his season singles record at 4-4, holding off the Bulldogs' Mitchel Bulger 7-6, 7-6. The Spartans, falling to 1-7, also got a team point from Collis and Eichenauer who hit the .500 mark (2-2), too, as they slipped past Brandon Brohm and Bulger 8-6. Coach Eric Christiansen's squad wasn't far from a third team point, either, as Eichenauer battled Dylan Linklater to a superbreak at number five singles but was defeated 3-6, 6-2, 7-10.

MU steps back into Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action Saturday, April 16. Hanover College comes to the campus' outdoor courts for an 11:00 a.m. first serve.
