FORT WAYNE, IND. - A Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference - Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association intersectional clash kicked off the 2017 spring portion of Manchester University's season Saturday, Feb. 25.

MU, dipping to 0-2 for the 2016-17 slate by falling 8-1 to the Scots, did see some bright spots at Wildwood Racquet Club. Sophomore Connor Eichenauer (North Manchester, Ind.) took the point, winning at number four singles. Junior Kyler Love (North Webster, Ind.) almost added a second tally for Coach Christiansen's crew, picking up six game wins at number three singles.

The Spartans begin 2017 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action Saturday, April 1, travelling to Mt. St. Joseph University.
