Box Score NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester women's basketball team fell to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon. Manchester fell by a 51-21 final score.
Rose-Hulman's defense, which has been ranked in the top 10 in the nation the past few seasons, was on full display Saturday afternoon, limiting Manchester's scoring opportunities.
For the game, Rose-Hulman shot 32.7% (18-55) from the floor. Manchester was held to 16.7% (8-48) shooting. Both teams combined to shoot 4-24 from three-point territory.
Faith-Alexis Graham (Indianapolis, Ind. / North Central) and Haley Farris (Sharpsville, Ind. / Tri-Central) both finished with four points. Macy Miller (Huntertown, Ind. / Carroll) grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
Rose-Hulman was led by Ally Bromenschenkel's 24 points.
Manchester dropped to 2-6, 0-3 HCAC. Rose-Hulman improved to 7-3, 4-0 HCAC. Manchester will be back in action on Tuesday December 18 against Defiance College. Tip-off against the Yellow Jackets is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
