Box Score 2 NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University men's tennis team dropped a pair of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matches to Earlham and Franklin College this weekend. The Spartans fell to the Quakers by a 9-0 final and were also narrowly edged by Franklin 5-4.
Against Franklin College, Manchester earned a win a No. 1 doubles. Connor Eichenauer and Isaac Miller paired for an 8-4 victory. In singles play, Miller also won at the No. 2 flight 6-4, 6-0. Bailey Buhrt battled to a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles. Freshman Andrew Kibler earned a 7-5, 7-5 win at the No. 6 flight.
The Spartans stand 3-6, 1-3 HCAC. MU will host HCAC-leading Rose-Hulman on Saturday April 13 at Noon at the Manchester Tennis Courts.
