Nash's Career-high Leads Manchester to Road Win over Rival Ravens

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Manchester University women's basketball team earned a 65-58 road victory at Anderson University on Wednesday January 8. MU has now won three straight Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference games.

Manchester's defense was active on Wednesday as the Spartans converted 24 Anderson turnovers into 23 points.

For the game Manchester shot 22-of-54 (40.7%). Anderson went 18-for-42 (42.9%)

Sophomore Bridget Nash (Carmel, Ind./Bishop Chatard) scored a career-high 21 points to lead the Spartans. Macy Miller (Huntertown, Ind./Carroll) added 10 points for the Black and Gold.

Payton Moore led Anderson with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Manchester improved to 6-6, 3-2 HCAC on the season. Anderson fell to 5-7, 1-4 HCAC. Manchester will hit the road this weekend and will travel to Earlham College on Saturday January 11. Game time against the Quakers is slated for 2 p.m.
