NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University men's tennis team concluded its shortened fall schedule with a home match on Tuesday afternoon against the Bethel (Ind.) Pilots.

Bethel took Tuesday's match by a final score of 9-0.

Manchester hung tough with the visiting Pilots at various points of Tuesday's match. Austin Arnold (Coatesville, Ind./South Putnam) was narrowly edged 6-4, 7-5 at no. 4 singles.

Andrew Kibler (Mariner, Fla./Cape Coral) came up just short in his marathon at no. 3 singles. Kibler took the first set 7-5 against Bethel's Jerad Bos. Bos was able to rally in sets two and three 6-4, 10-3.

Manchester concluded its fall slate with a record of 1-2.  Bethel improved to 3-8 this fall.
