BLUFFTON, Ohio – The host Bluffton University Beavers completed the weekend sweep of the Manchester University women's basketball team following a 78-60 win in Ohio on Saturday, January 30.

Bluffton shot 50% (30-60) from the floor and buried 10 triples in Saturday's game. Sammy Shardo led BU with 19 points and five here-pointers. Emma Saltzman scored 17 points while Nora Hemminger added 10 points. Brianna Gillig, who scored 41 points last night, was held to just six points this afternoon.

Manchester was limited to 37.7% (23-61) shooting on Saturday. The Black & Gold were also limited to 37.5% (6-16) shooting from downtown. Macy Miller (Huntertown, Ind./Carroll) led Manchester with 15 points and nine rebounds. Miranda Bieghler (Plainfield, Ind./South Putnam) added 14 points on 6-8 shooting. Bieghler also grabbed six boards. Hannah Lindsey (Speedway, Ind./Speedway) also reached double figures in scoring with 10 points.

Manchester is scheduled to play at Defiance College on Friday, February 5, beginning at 5 p.m.
