CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Manchester University women's soccer team was edged by the Mount St. Joseph Lions in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday October 2.
Mount St. Joseph edged the Black & Gold by a 1-0 final. The host Lions scored the game's only match in the 78
th minute. Julia Herzog was credited with the goal for MSJ.
Abby McLaughlin (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) took a pair of shots in Saturday's game and placed one shot on goal for Manchester. Goalkeeper
Becca Colbert (Porter, Ind./Chesterton) made nine saves in the game.
The Spartans will return to action on Wednesday October 6. Manchester will host the Defiance College Yellow Jackets at Good Field beginning at 4:30 p.m.
