WARSAW, Ind. - The Manchester University men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 5-4 battle to Adrian College on Saturday, March 13, at the Eastlake Athletic Club.

The visiting Bulldogs took two of the three doubles matches on the afternoon. The Spartan duo of the Austin Arnold and Blake Rentschler teamed up for an 8-6 victory at no. 2 doubles.

In singles action, Isaac Miller (Millersburg, Ind./Fairfield) defeated Adrians' Ron Ducharme 7-5, 6-4 at the no. 1 position. At no. 3 singles, Austin Arnold (Coatesville, Ind./South Putnam) took down Joey Quigley 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). Blake Rentschler (Griffith, Ind./Bishop Noll) rounded out the MU scoring on the day with a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) triumph at the no. 3 flight.

Adrian moved to 2-2 on the season while Manchester dropped to 2-4. The Spartans will host Rose-Hulman on Saturday, March 20, as HCAC play begins.
