NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The visiting Franklin College Grizzlies narrowly edged the Manchester Spartans at the MU Tennis Courts earlier this afternoon in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis action.

The Grizzlies clawed past the Spartans after winning five singles matchups.

The no 1 doubles duo of Isaac Miller and Samuel Hollingsworth topped Franklin's Camden Jones and Ty McCory 8-7 (7-5). MU also picked up a default win at no. 3 doubles.

Isaac Miller (Millersburg, Ind./Fairfield) continued his hot play this spring, defeating Camden Jones 7-6 (10-8), 6-3 in the no. 1 singles bout. Miller is now 8-4 this year in his singles matches.

Manchester dropped to 0-3 in HCAC play this spring while the Grizzlies improved to 1-2.

Manchester is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 24, at home against Transylvania.
