NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – Returning to the pool for the first time this year. The Manchester University men's and women's swimming & diving teams both earned dual victories over the Hanover College Panthers and the Bluffton University Beavers inside of the Strauss-Peabody Aquatic Center on Saturday October 8^th, 2022.
 
The day started off with a win on both sides in the 200 Medley Relay. The quartet of Genesis Everling, Megan Pierce, Eamin Lynch, and Ashlynn Malloy finished with a time of 2:08.26. While the Spartan men consisting of Colten Schulte, Jacob Stauffer, Parker York, and Hung Tran combined for a winning time of 1:45.99 to just edge out the Panthers who finished second with a time of 1:46.30. 

From there the Spartans Kept rolling. Going on to win eleven out of the following twenty-four events. Coach Karns noted that "Our wins over Both the Men's and Women's teams from Hanover and Bluffton was a great way to start our season. We swam and dove well and showed enormous improvement over last year." 

The Spartans will be back in action on 10/15/22 when they travel to Terre Haute to take part in the Indiana Division III Invitational hosted by Rose-Hulman. Meet is set to start at 12:30.
