Manchester Drops HCAC Match to Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Manchester University Spartans fell to rival Anderson University 5-0 on the road Wednesday evening.

Anderson broke a scoreless draw in the 32nd minute when Lauren Brown scored for the Ravens, assisted by Kira Dashewich. AU would add another goal in the 37th minute by Emily Wilusz. Taylor Fort opened up the second half with a goal in the 53rd minute, and the Ravens would tack-on two more goals, one by Taylor Baker (62nd minute) and another by Kylie Roberts (76th minute). Anderson improved to 8-4-2, 5-2 HCAC with the win.

The Spartans were led by Abi Rosenkrans (Pendleton, Ind., Pendleton Heights) with seven saves in goal on the day.

Up next, Manchester will honor its four seniors during halftime of Saturday's Homecoming game. The Spartans will host Earlham College at Good Field at 1:00 p.m.
