MUSKEGON, Mich. - The Manchester wrestling team began the 2022-23 season at the Muskegon Open hosted by Muskegon Community College on Saturday, November 5th, where over a dozen teams competed.

No team scores were kept on the afternoon, but the Spartans finished the day with 2 individual podium finishes. Ellisston Ross (Bloomington, Ind., Bloomington South) placed 2nd at 174 pounds while Keagen Mabie (Mishawaka, Ind. , Mishawaka High School) finished in 4th place at 157 pounds.

The Black and Gold will hit the road again next weekend to compete in the Trine Invitational. Event time for the Spartans is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
