NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University women's soccer team will return to the pitch on Thursday afternoon when the Spartans host the Britons of Albion College to open the 2022 regular season. 

Kickoff at Good Field is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. 

Manchester Notes (0-0) 

* The Spartans are opening up regular season play after their exhibition match on Aug. 27. 
* Manchester returns 9 players from last year's squad. 
* MU brings in 11 newcomers to this year's roster. 

Albion Notes (0-0) 

* Members of the MIAA, Albion will open their season at Good Field. 
* Albion, MIAA conference runner ups in 2021, graduated just 2 players and return much of their 2021 roster. 
* The Britons are coached by Eric Scott who is in his 10th year with the program.
