The Spartans Shut Out the Belles

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Manchester volleyball team traveled to Notre Dame to compete against Saint Mary's College.  

Manchester took all three sets against Saint Mary's with scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-17.  The Belles competed with the Spartans throughout the match, but could not come up with a set win.  

Manchester's hitters had a good night with 34 kills and 9 blocks on the evening.  Leading in kills was Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) with 9, and Erika Kramer (Greensburg, Ind., North Decatur) led in blocks with 6. Contributing to the front lines offense, Jessica Tarr (Fort Wayne, Ind., Snider) recorded 29 assists and Helaina Walters (Marion, Ind., Eastbrook) had 13 digs. 

The volleyball team will be back to compete against the Hanover College Panthers on Saturday, October 1st.  Conference play match time is set for 6:30pm.
