Men's Soccer Shuts Out Rose-Hulman 1-0

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester men's soccer team shut out visiting Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 1-0 on Wednesday, October 11. The Spartans improve to 8-0-5 on the season and 4-0-1 in HCAC play. With the loss, Fightin' Engineers fall to 8-4-1, 4-1 HCAC.

Wednesday night's win snaps a 36 match unbeaten streak in HCAC regular season play for Rose-Hulman and marks the first time the Spartans have picked up a win against the Fightin' Engineers since 2018.

Rose-Hulman held a 10-4 advantage in shots taken, but the Spartans were able to score the lone goal of Wednesday night's match off a corner kick in the 52nd minute of action by Noah Black (Swayzee, Ind., Mississinewa) to Kole Williams (Lafayette, Ind., McCutcheon) to score the first goal of his collegiate career.

Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) collected his eighth clean sheet of the season, tallying five saves in goal for the Black and Gold.

Manchester men's soccer will travel to Earlham College to take on the Quakers for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
