Wednesday night's win snaps a 36 match unbeaten streak in
HCAC regular season play for
Rose-Hulman and marks the first time the Spartans have picked up a win against the
Fightin' Engineers since 2018.
Rose-Hulman held a 10-4 advantage in shots taken, but the Spartans were able to score the lone goal of Wednesday night's match off a corner kick in the 52nd minute of action by
Noah Black (Swayzee, Ind., Mississinewa) to
Kole Williams (Lafayette, Ind., McCutcheon) to score the first goal of his collegiate career.
Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) collected his eighth clean sheet of the season, tallying five saves in goal for the Black and Gold.
Manchester men's soccer will travel to
Earlham College to take on the Quakers for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
