HANOVER, Ind. - The Spartans fell to the Panthers of Hanover College in straight sets on Friday, October 13. 

Hanover took Friday's contest following set scores of 25-11, 25-18, and 25-23. 

Joy Maze (Greenwood, Ind., Greenwood Community) and Avery Ball (Decatur, Ind., Belmont) led Manchester with 10 and nine kills, respectively. Maze also added nine digs and a block assist. Lily Lichtenbarger (South Bend, Ind., New Prairie) also had a block assist for the Black and Gold. 

Tiffany Watterson (Elkhart, Ind., Elkhart) had a team-high 13 digs in Friday's contest, while Alexa Kouskousakis (Rochester, Ind., Rochester Community) led Manchester with 12 assists. 

Elliot Mays led Hanover with 12 kills and four different Panthers collected two or more total blocks . As a team, Hanover hit .310 in the match. The Spartans swung .110 on Friday night. 

Manchester (12-7, 2-1 HCAC) will travel to Franklin College on Wednesday, October 17 to go head-to-head with the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m.
