FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Manchester University women's volleyball team improved to 3-1 in conference play after defeating the Grizzlies of Franklin College 3-1 on Tuesday, October 17.
The Spartans rallied to take Tuesday night's match by set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.
Joy Maze (Greenwood, Ind., Greenwood Community) and
Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) led the Black and Gold with 12 kills apiece on Tuesday night.
Camp also tallied a team-high three blocks, while
Jessica Tarr (Fort Wayne, Ind., Snider) chipped in two blocks for the Spartans.
Two Spartans reached double figures in digs.
Tiffany Watterson (Elkhart, Ind., Elkhart) and
Maze both finished with 19 and 17 digs, respectfully.
Alexa Kouskousakis (Rochester, Ind., Rochester Community) posted a match-high 20 assists.
Emma Tone (Fort Wayne, Ind., Bishop Dwenger) finished with 15 assists and a career-high five aces.
Up next, Manchester will host the Fightin' Engineers of Rose-Hulman on Saturday, October 21 in Stuaffer-Wolfe Arena.
