Elliott Apps (Bluffton, Ind., Bluffton High School) took fifth place after winning by decision over
Josh Lee and by forfeit over Eero Gross from Wabash College.
Victor Lee (Marion, Ind., Marion) finished in fifth place after picking up a couple of wins in the heavy weight class. Lee won by decision over
Nico Torres and
Robert Garrett before winning by disqualification over Rigoberto Villa from Defiance College.
Taraen High (Daleville, Ala., Daleville) finished the afternoon in seventh place at 125 pounds after winning by major decision over Donavan Kelly from Adrian College.
Josh Lee (Wyandotte, Mich., Riverview Community) placed eighth after picking up a win by major decision over
Alex Gronkiewicz.
Robert Garrett (Gary, Ind., Calumet New Tech) took eighth after winning by fall over Gavin Babb from Trine University and
Jason Orr.
Up next, the Spartans will travel to Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday, February 15 to compete against both the Defiance Yellow Jackets and the Mount St. Joseph Lions at 6:00 p.m.
