TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Manchester University's women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up the 2023 season, finishing in fifth place at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, February 11.

The Black and Gold capped an outstanding season of continued growth under coaches
Roger Karns and
Mitch Schall. The women's team finished with 223 team points, the most points scored at a conference meet in school history and increasing their team points by more than double from last year.
Alix Oden (Markle, Ind., Norwell) set a new Manchester top-10 mark in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 20:32.87.
Rachel Fedor (Wingate, Ind., North Montgomery) also swam her way to a new top-10 time in the 1650 freestyle, touching the wall in a time of 21.52.48.
A new top-10 mark was set in the women's 200-yard backstroke by
Genesis Everling (Kokomo, Ind., Western). Everling finished the event in eighth place with a time of 2:23.75.
