A hand full of Spartans picked up wins during Sunday's Greyhound Open.
Devontay Moore (Indianapolis, Ind., North Central) won in sudden victory over Will Stewart from Marian University (Ind.) at 184 pounds.
At 285 pounds,
Jason Orr (Muncie, Ind., Muncie Central) won by fall over Bryce Crump from UIndy on his first consolation round.
Also at 285 pounds,
Robert Garrett (Gary, Ind., Calumet New Tech) won his opening round by fall over Sergio Bueno from Ancilla College.
Nico Torres (LaPorte, Ind., LaPorte) picked up two victories at 285 pounds.
Torres won by medical forfeit in his second consolation round matchup before winning by decision over Jaylin Harris from Marian University (Ind.).
Victor Lee (Marion, Ind., Marion) won his opening round at 285 pounds by fall over Ryan Latimore (Unattached - Indiana Tech). After falling to the consolation brackets,
Lee won in sudden victory over Ian Clifford (Unattached - Indiana Tech) before winning by decision over Austin Lane from Marian University (Ind.).
Up next, Manchester wrestling will compete in the Mid-States Invitational hosted by Olivet College in Olivet, Mich. Event time is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11.
