TEMPE, Ariz. - The Manchester University men's tennis team earned All-Academic Team honors by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) with five Spartans earning ITS Scholar-Athlete recognition, the association announced on Wednesday, July 12.

The men's tennis team was honored for compiling team-wide grade point averages above 3.2 during the 2022-23 academic year.

Brennan Beachy (Goshen, Ind., Westview), Braydon Hoggatt (Union City, Ind., Union City), Ryan Nastav (Lebanon, Ind., Lebanon), Omar Lemus (Portage, Ind., Portage), and Ian Parslow (Kokomo, Ind., Kokomo) were each honored as ITA Scholar-Athletes. Varsity tennis players must achieve a grade point average above 3.5 during the 2022-23 academic year and earn a varsity letter to qualify for the ITA All-Academic Team.
