Harley Kruschwitz (North Manchester, Ind., Manchester) compiled his fourth collegiate hat trick, second this season, highlighting Manchester University's non-conference win against Grace Christian University on Tuesday, September 12.
The Black and Gold improved to 2-0-3 on year after taking Tuesday's match by a final score of 5-0.
Kruschwitz ignited the Manchester offensive, tallying his second hat trick of the season and fourth of his collegiate career. He also netted a hat trick against Adrian College back on September 8.
Kruschwitz scored goals in the 3rd, 28th, and 52nd minutes against Grace Christian.
Christian Gearheart (Speedway, Ind., Speedway) picked up an assist on
Kruschwitz's first goal of the night on Tuesday.
First-year
Maruwe Exauce (Indianapolis, Ind., North Central) scored his first collegiate goal in the 30th minute.
Chris Wilson (Crawfordsville, Ind., Bethesda Christian) also found the back of the net for his first collegiate goal and give Manchester the 5-0 lead in the 68th minute.
Wilson was assisted by
Conner Shaffer (Peru, Ind., Peru).
As a team, Manchester held a 16-5 advantage in shots taken during Tuesday's game.
Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) had another clean sheet in goal for the Black and Gold with one save.
