ALBION, Mich. - Manchester men's soccer defeated the Britons of Albion College by a final score of 5-0 for its second consecutive win on Friday, September 15.
Senior
Cory Mitchell (Maitland, Fla., Winter Park) netted a career-high five goals on Friday night for his first collegiate career hat trick.
Mitchell netted his first goal of the contest in the 7th minute, unassisted. He would find the back of the net three more times in the first half.
Maruwe Exauce (Indianapolis, Ind., North Central), Harley Kruschwitz (North Manchester, Ind., Manchester), and
Chris Gerken (Huntertown, Ind., Carroll) all earned assists.
Mitchell would strike again in the 72nd minute, unassisted, to give the Spartans a 5-0 lead.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) collected his fourth clean sheet of the season with two saves.
