OLIVET, Mich. - The Manchester men's soccer team fought to a 1-1 draw against the host Comets of The University of Olivet on Sunday, September 17.

Kyle Buchan netted a goal in the 28th minute, assisted by Aidan Reynolds to give the Comets a 1-0 lead. 

Senior forward Cory Mitchell (Maitland, Fla., Winter Park) found the back of the net in the 70th minute for the Black and Gold to tie the game up at 1-1.

The Spartans held a 12-7 advantage in shots taken on the afternoon. Sophomore goalkeeper Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) tallied two saves during Sunday's match.

Up next, the Spartans will host Great Lakes Christian College for their last non-conference game of the season on Wednesday, September 20. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Spartan Stadium.
