HOWELL, Mich. - The Manchester women's soccer team traveled to Howell, Mich. to take on the Cougars of Cleary University on September 16. The Spartans fell by a score of 5-0.
Cleary struck early with the first two goals coming in the 1st and 5th minutes. Five different Cougars would score during Saturday's contest.
As a team, Manchester had seven shots.
Grace Papazoglou (Commack, NY., Commack) led the Black and Gold with three shots on the afternoon.
Peyton Horn (Crown Point, Ind., Andrean) added one shot on goal.

Madilyn VanDerWeele (Tippecanoe, Ind., Argos) had 9 saves in goal.
The Spartans will look to bounce back on Tuesday, September 19 as they travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. to take on St. Francis. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
