WHEATON, Ill. - The Manchester volleyball team competed in the Marilyn Scribner Invitational in Wheaton, Ill. The Spartans came away from the invite with a 2-1 record with wins over Illinois Tech and Concordia Chicago, both in straight sets. The Spartans fell to Aurora University 3-0.

Manchester University 3, Illinois Institute of Technology 0 

• Joy Maze led the Spartan offensive attack with 13 kills. 
• Carley Camp and Jessica Tarr both had four blocks during Friday's contest. 
• Falyn McPeek had 17 assists while first-year libero Tiffany Watterson collected 23 digs. 

Aurora University 3, Manchester University 0

• Joy Maze led with 12 kills. 
• Carley Camp, Kaitlyn Smith, and Lily Lichtenbarger each had one block during Saturday morning's contest.
• Tiffany Watterson had a team-high 11 digs. 

Manchester University 3, University of Concordia Chicago

• Joy Maze led the Black and Gold 10 kills, while Carley Camp added nine kills and two blocks. 
• Avery Ball tallied five aces during Saturday's second match of the day. 
• Mariah Forbes led with 16 assists. 
• Tiffany Watterson had a team high 13 digs. 

 
Manchester junior middle hitter Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind., Logansport) was named to the All-Tournament team for her performance over the weekend. Over the three matches, Camp tallied 20 kills and 7 blocks.

Up next, Manchester volleyball will travel to South Bend, Ind. to face the Belles of Saint Mary's College on Tuesday, September 19. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
