NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – Junior Avin Demaso (South Bend, Ind., Riley) led the Manchester University women's tennis team for a non-conference matchup against Earlham College on Saturday, September 2, picking up a pair of points for the Black & Gold.

Demaso paired with Carmen Ramirez (Rolling Prairie, Ind., Mishawaka) for an 8-4 victory at no. 2 doubles to open the 2023 season.

Demaso would then go on to win her no. 3 singles match 6-4, 6-2. Ramirez was edged at the no. 4 singles flight by Maria Farst 6-3, 7-6.

Manchester will return to the courts on Tuesday afternoon against Trine University. Tuesday's match is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. at the MU Tennis Courts.
