NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester women's soccer team fell in non-conference action against the Huntington University Foresters on Wednesday, September 6.
The Foresters took Wednesday's game by a final score of 9-0.Â
Huntington placed eight shots on goal on Wednesday afternoon. Paige Weiss scored three goals to lead the Foresters. Six different Foresters scored in the game.Â
Katie Witte (Auburn, Ind., DeKalb ) led Manchester with three shots. Lizzy Willis (Yorktown, Ind., Yorktown) tallied four saves in 60 minutes in goal for the Black and Gold. Ruth Windeler (Grand Blanc, Mich., Goodrich) also added one save on the afternoon.
The Spartans fall to 0-3 on the season. Huntington improved to 2-1-1 with the win.Â
Up next, Manchester women's soccer will host Indiana University South Bend at Good Field on Saturday, September 9. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
