NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University men's soccer team downed the Adrian College Bulldogs by a final score of 5-0 at Good Field on Friday, September 8.
Harley Kruschwitz (North Manchester, Ind., Manchester) netted his third career collegiate hat trick to lead the Black & Gold attack. Kruschwitz scored in the 5th minute to put the Spartans ahead 1-0. He added goals in the 47th and 52nd minutes, both assisted by Julian Keough (Indianapolis, Ind., Pike).
Kruschwitz also had a role in the second Manchester goal of the afternoon as he assisted on Devon Allen (Argos, Ind., Argos) first collegiate goal in the 30th minute.
Sophomore Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) earned the clean sheet behind five saves.
Manchester outshot the Bulldogs 15-8 on the afternoon. The Black & Gold landed nine of their 15 shots on goal.
With the win, the Spartans improved to 1-0-2 on the season. Adrian dropped to 0-1-1 with the loss.
The Black & Gold will return to action on Saturday, September 9. Manchester will host Wittenberg University at Good Field at 3:00 p.m.
