NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University women's basketball team fell to the visiting Hanover College Panthers by a final score of 82-46 on Saturday, January 6.
The Panthers rode a strong rebounding effort while also shooting 57.9% from beyond the three-point arc during Saturday's victory. Hanover held a 41-27 advantage on the boards.
The Spartans were led by
Hailee Kline (Huntington, Ind., Blackhawk Christian)) with 12 points, followed by
Maddi Smith (Kewanna, Ind., Caston) with 10 points.
Smith also led the Spartans on the board with six rebounds.
Jay'ana Blakely (Westville, Ind., Marquette Catholic) and
Kinsey Atkins (Warsaw, Ind., Triton) finished the afternoon with two steals apiece.
Up next, Manchester women's basketball will travel to rival Anderson University on Wednesday, January 10 for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Ravens.
