Wheaton, Ill. - The Manchester University Men's Basketball team traveled to Wheaton College for a Saturday non-conference match up.
The Spartans dominated on offense yet again as they would win 89-78 and improve to 5-1 on on the season.

This game started off as any other game would with it going back and forth between the two teams and even Wheaton taking a seven point lead, five minutes in. The Spartans rallied to take the lead in the eighth minute and would not give it up for the rest of the game, winning by 11.
Zach Sawyer (Columbus, Ohio, Bishop Watterson) led the way in scoring with 23 and adding 9 rebounds while
Bryant Smith (West Lafayette, Ind., Harrison) racked up 20 points and 8 rebounds of his own and a block to go with it.
Ty Lynas (Crawfordsville, Ind., Crawfordsville) made his return to the court from injury and put together 9 points and 7 rebounds of his own.The Spartans finished the game perfect from the stripe, going 12-12 from the free throw line.
Manchester will host Rose-Hulman on December 4 to open up HCAC Play for their next contest.Â
