North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester University Women's Basketball team hosted Earlham College on Saturday for their second HCAC game of the season.

The Spartans held down the home court and would win the game 67-60.

In a game with only three lead changes, the Spartans stood tall and defeated the Quakers to claim their first HCAC victory of the season. Two Spartans recorded a double-double in the game, Abigail Rosenkrans (Pendleton, Ind., Pendleton Heights) finished as the teams leader in points and rebounds with 19 and 14 as well as three assists while Kayla Gibbs (Fort Wayne, Ind,, Carroll) finished her game with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and 1 steal. The Black & Gold shot a combined 19-24 from the stripe and brought down 42 rebounds in Saturday's game.

The Spartans will travel to Hanover College in their next match up on December 14.
