TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Manchester University swimming and diving teams competed in day two of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday, February 15.
The women's 200-yard freestyle relay team consisting of
Eamin Lynch (South Bend, Ind., John Adams), Stephanie Roman (Beaver Falls, Pa., Blackhawk), Taelynn Benish (Logansport, Ind., Logansport), and Ashlynn Malloy (Mooresville, Ind., Mooresville) broke the Manchester school record after finishing the event in a time of 1:44.34, good enough for a third place finish on Thursday night.
Roman also broke a Manchester school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a preliminary time of 25.55.
