GAME NOTES: 

• The Spartans are seeking their first HCAC Tournament title since the 2010-11 season and second title since their three-peat from 1992-95. 
• Manchester finished the 2023-24 regular season with an overall record of 15-10 and a 12-6 mark in conference play, earning them the no. 4 seed in this year's HCAC tournament.
• In their first meeting of the season, the Spartans edged out the Ravens by a final score of 84-82 in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena. Anderson defeated Manchester last Friday by a final score of 96-86 to close out the regular season.
• Bryant Smith (West Lafayette, Ind., Harrison) leads the Black and Gold in scoring, averaging 21.1 points per game. Smith became the 33rd person in Manchester men's basketball history to score 1,000 career points against Rose-Hulman back on January 24. The junior guard from West Lafayette has scored 548 points this season to boost his career total to 1,161, moving him up to 20th on the Manchester All-Time Scoring list.
• Zach Sawyer (Columbus, Ohio, Bishop Watterson) was named the HCAC Player of the Year after leading the league in rebounds (242), assists (126), and steals (58) over the course of the regular season. Sawyer is currently averaging 17.6 points per game, totaling 467 points so far this year. This season, the senior guard has also recorded 13 double-doubles, including a rare triple-double back in December.
• Logan Willoughby (Greenwood, Ind., Whiteland Community) was named All-HCAC Honorable Mention. He finished the regular season averaging 13.2 points per game and 2.2 assists per game. Willoughby's totals for the regular season included 210 points, 62 rebounds, and 35 assists in 16 games played.
• Anderson University sophomore was named the HCAC Defensive Player of the year this season, after leading the league in blocks with 65 and averaging 10 rebounds per game.
