NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - Basketball season is on the horizon Spartan fans which means it is time to break down the 2024-25 schedule.
The Black and Gold will open the season against the Britons of Albion College in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena on November 12. The Spartans will then take part in the 3rd Annual Ron Linhart Memorial Classic where they will take on Heideilberg University (November 15) and either Wisconsin OshKosh or Calvin (Novemeber 16). Manchester will then travel to Alma College (November 23) and Wheaton College (November 30).
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play kicks off on December 4 at home against Rose Hulman. Manchester will then host the Quakers of Earlham College on December 7 before heading down to Hanover College on December 14. To finish off the early part of conference action, the Spartans will host Transylvania University on December 18.
The Spartans will travel to Angola, Ind. to take on Trine University in a mid-season Non-conference match up with the reigning NCAA DIII National Champions on December 30.
The Spartans jump right back into conference play where they will travel to Mount St. Joseph (January 4) and Franklin College (January 8). Following that road trip, the Spartans will host Berea College (January 11) and rivals Anderson University (January 15). The Spartans will jump back on the road for three straight games against Transylvania (January 18), Rose Hulman (January 22), and Berea (January 25).
The Spartans will the host Bluffton (January 29) and Mount St. Joseph (February 1). On February 5 the Spartans will make the trip south to take on Anderson University before coming back to host Hanover College on February 8. The last road trips of the regular season will be to Bluffton (February 12) and Earlham (February 15).
Manchester will conclude the regular season at home against Franklin College on February 19. The Opening Round of the HCAC Tournament is scheduled for February 22.
