North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester Men's Soccer Team hosted Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on Saturday in a non-conference match up.

The Spartans were outlasted by the Pomeroys who took the game 0-3.

Manchester 0, SMWC 3

It was a steady match up between the teams, staying at 0-0 until the 77th minute when SMWC got on the board first. Seven minutes later the Pomeroys were on the board again making it 2-0, however it did not stay that way for long as two minutes later SMWC would get their third and final goal. Goalkeeper Aaron Ketchmark (Kouts, Ind., Kouts) ended the game with four saves and the Spartans ended with four shots.

The Spartans look to bounce back as they take on The University of Olivet, Tuesday, Sep.10 at 7:30 PM in Spartan Stadium.
