North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester University Men's Basketball Team hosted the Bluffton Beavers in a mid-week HCAC Mathc up this past Wednesday.
The Spartans got back to their winning ways, taking down the Beavers 82-71.

The Spartans came out hot and did not surrender as they would take the lead three minutes into the game and not give it up. Senior
Clay McCorkle (Converse, Ind, Oak Hill) was lights out in the second half scoring 17 including three 3 pointers, while Sophomore
Austin Willoughby (Greenwood, Ind., Whiteland Community) and Senior
Ty Lynas (Crawfordsville, Ind., Crawfordsville) locked down the boards, combining for 20 rebounds.
Willoughby recorded his first career double-double in 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Bryant Smith (West Lafayette, Ind., Harrison) led the game in scoring with 20 points, including a perfect 6-6 from the stripe.
Lynas was an all around specialist finishing with 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Spartans splashed eight 3 pointers and shot 85% from the stripe to get back in the win column.
Manchester will host Mount St. Joseph in February 1 for their next match up at home.Â
