North Manchester, Ind. - The Manchester University Women's Basketball team hosted the Franklin Grizzlies in a midweek HCAC match up.

The Spartans would collect their third conference win of the year, beating Franklin 79-70.

From Start to finish, Manchester Basketball led the game. The Spartans started off hot going on a 10-0 run to begin the game and never looked back. The Grizzlies were able to pull back within one point however the Spartans dominance from beyond the arc proved top be too much for Franklin as Manchester shot 10/15 from three. Abigail Rosenkrans (Pendleton, Ind., Pendleton Heights) continued to score but also dominated the glass and fed the whole team the ball, she added nine rebounds and seven assists to her stat sheet. Maddi Smith (Kewanna, Ind., Caston) was dominant in the paint where she posted a season high 15 points and 8 rebounds while adding in zero turnovers on the night.

The Spartans look to keep the momentum as they host Berea College on January 11 in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
