North Manchester, Ind. - Manchester came up short in a 66–54 loss to Trine on Tuesday, battling throughout but unable to overcome a strong second half by the visitors.
After trailing 28–16 at the break, the Spartans showed improved energy in the second half, scoring 38 points over the final 20 minutes, but Trine matched the push to maintain control down the stretch. Manchester finished the night with 54 points as the Thunder hit timely shots to keep separation.
Ty Lynas led Manchester with 15 points, continuing to be a consistent scoring presence for the Spartans.
Ladarius Wallace added 12 points, while
Chris Hardy chipped in 11 to give Manchester multiple double-figure scorers. Manchester worked to generate offense and stay aggressive, but Trine's efficiency and depth proved to be the difference.
