North Manchester, Ind. - Manchester men's basketball dropped a 65-44 HCAC decision to Mt. St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon at Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
The Spartans battled to generate offense inside (22 points in the paint), but couldn't keep pace with an MSJ perimeter barrage as the Lions knocked down 10 three-pointers and built a 31-18 halftime lead. Manchester shot 17-of-46 from the floor and 3-of-14 from three, while committing 12 turnovers against MSJ's pressure.
Ladarius Wallace paced Manchester with 15 points on 4-of-8 shooting, knocking down two triples and going 5-of-7 at the line while adding four assists.
Clay McCorkle finished with 11 points and two assists, and
Logan Brace contributed seven points, five rebounds, and four steals before fouling out.
Talan Boehler added five points and six boards, and
Chris Hardy chipped in four rebounds with a block.
