North Manchester, Ind. – Manchester University Cross Country and Track & Field appoints Blake Harris as a new Assistant Coach.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Harris attended Manchester University upon graduating from Homestead High School. During his time at Manchester, Harris competed in both Cross Country and Track & Field. Harris was a part of two HCAC championship squads in 2013 and 2016 as well as a solo champion in 2017. Also in 2017, Harris took home the HCAC Track & Field 10,000-meter championship in route to a National Championship Qualifier campaign.
After graduating from Manchester in 2018, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Harris served as a part of the Manchester Cross Country and Track & Field coaching staff from 2018 – 2019. Now, Harris returns to Manchester as an Assistant Coach while enjoying life with his wife and former Manchester graduate, Emily, and their two dogs Jingles and Bambi.
